Spring Break 2018

We're in Newport Beach, CA, for this spring break. The weather has been cooler and wetter than we had hoped for, but it is still warmer than home!

We drove down to La Jolla on Monday - about an hour and a half south. Most of these pictures are from that excursion.

The last picture in this set is from dinner at a restaurant near our resort. It was a Mexican place, but I didn't find much on the menu that I recognized from the fare at Taco Bell. And the pricing didn't quite match Taco Bell, either. Oh well, I guess they'll need to do some catching up. The three pictures just before that are from Huntington Beach.

Fountain Square

It was a great day for some urban hiking. Temps in the low 60s, partly cloudy and breezy. So, down to Fountain Square. It has changed a lot since the last time I was there - sometime in the mid- to late 90s, I think. Here is some of what we saw.
