We visited Silver Springs, Florida, in May 2019. The glass bottom boat excursion (about 30 minutes) is good. The water is so clear that everything below the surface can be easily seen - fish, turtles, alligators, stumps, sunken boats, statues, etc. Admission is $2 per person and the boat trip is $12, so well worth the price.
Exploring the paths is also worthwhile, but watch out for the monkeys at the Sea Hunt shelter. They can be aggressive to the point of jumping and snarling to warn people away. Don't know if they'll bite as we didn't hang around to find out.
